Who are we?

Ton van loosbroek, OsteopaatTon van Loosbroek

I have worked in health care for 30 years, the last 20 of which I have practiced as an Osteopath. I work with a team of specialist and complementary therapists in two well established and regarded multidisciplinary practices in Amsterdam.
I also have many years of experience coaching therapists on the Sutherland physical therapy course. I assist in the writing of their thesis or case study, which are part of the trajectory to receive the title D.O (Diplom Osteopathie).
Since 1999, I am taking part as a jury member in the evaluation of these works.  I have taught courses in anatomy, physiology and orthopedic medicine. Being a passionately active sportsman for 40 years, both as a player and as a trainer/coach, I have also recently been inspired to set up a new practice working with people with sports-related injuries.

The work with athletes and dancers is closely related to my past as professional modern dancer. For my own development as an osteopath I take part in specializations like paediatric (children) osteopathie, embryology and physiology within the osteopathic concept.
